Welcome to another edition of our Fan Friday Feature, where we showcase the amazing talents and stories of our fans. Today, we're excited to introduce you to Cyder_Spider_, a talented artist whose work has won them the title of ‘Alfred’s Pick’ from our tee-shirt design contest. Join us as we dive into the world of Cyder_Spider and discover the beauty of their art!

RA: How did you hear about Rare Americans?

CS: The first time I heard about RA was about the time Brittle Bones Nicky came out, just 13-14 years old when the ad popped up. I was genuinely interested in animated music videos and Nicky’s character design was pleasing to the eyes so I watched the whole thing and immediately fell in love!

RA: You were chosen as ‘Alfreds Pick’ for our teeshirt design contest, what advice can you give to the current contestants for our ‘Alfred-verse’ art contest?

CS: My advice to the contestants is just please have some fun, do not stress yourself over it, and don’t compare yourself to others ‘cause I’ve done that thinking I wouldn’t win but you’ll never know! Even if you think it’s not your best.

RA: What are your goals/ambitions with art?

CS: My goals with my art are to just improve, work with my heroes or be a part of something big.. one of my dreams was to have my art put on a t-shirt and be worn by other people, thanks to RA it did come true! And I appreciate that a lot!

RA: If you could pick one Rare Americans song that best represents your style, which song would it be?

CS: It’s a hard choice to choose what song represents my style but I’d say the more upbeat songs! Like Baggage, wild imagination, and/or tremendous? ❤️
