INTERVIEW AND FAN ART WITH ‘CROWS AND SLURPEES’

As we approach the end of March, we shine the spotlight on one of our exceptionally gifted fans, crows and slurpees. Our team recently had the pleasure of having a brief conversation with them, where we got a little insight into the background of the artist and their impressive abilities.

RA: What got you started in Art?

C&S: The idea of being able to create something that has never existed was always very exciting for me especially when I was first starting out!

RA: Do you listen to music when you draw and if so, what do you listen to?

C&S: I usually listen to podcasts while I’m drawing (so the episodes you guys have been putting out on YouTube have been fantastic), or if I want some musical accompaniment I’ll just put on whatever has been floating around at the top of my favorites list (suffice to say it’s been almost non-stop RA since I found you guys)

RA: Who are three artists or illustrators that currently inspire you the most?

C&S: @akanyte @chasingartwork and @risa4art are 3 illustrators that definitely make my jaw drop anytime I see their stuff

RA: If someone is new to the world of art, what advice would you offer them?

C&S: Art is a skill just like anything else, it just takes practice and patience, working at something until an “I can’t” turns into a “look what I made!”
